Label Reading
The importance of label reading: Why is it so important? Because the population in general usually just counts calories but it is very important to recognize the ingredients in the products that you are purchasing. When you see the words "FAT FREE" it doesn't necessarily mean it's good for you. Always check the other listed ingredients: like that of trans fats, mono and poly fats, sodium, sugars, carbohydrates, proteins and fiber on all labels. In the Ingredients section on the label, make sure the FIRST 5 listed ingredients ARE NOT Enriched White Flour, High Fructose, Aspartame, Sucralose, or Saccharin Artificial Sweetner.
